Privacy & cookies
Last updated
The short version: this is a static site. We don’t run ads, we don’t track you across the web, and there’s no account to sign in to. We measure visits with a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that can’t identify you — so there are still no tracking cookies, nothing non-essential to consent to, and no cookie-consent banner.
Who’s responsible
The data controller is the site’s operator, an entrepreneur individuel based in France (details below). If you have any question about privacy, that’s who to contact.
What we collect
From you directly: essentially nothing. There are no accounts and no forms that store your data. Like any website, our host and CDN (Scaleway, in the EU) process standard technical request logs — such as your IP address and browser type — to deliver and protect the site. That processing is a normal, necessary part of hosting and isn’t used to build a profile of you.
Cookies and analytics
We don’t set tracking or advertising cookies. For analytics we use Plausible — a privacy-friendly tool that counts visits and shows us which guides are useful. It’s cookieless and collects no personal data: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, and no way to identify you. Plausible is EU-based and processes its data in the EU. Because it stores nothing on your device and holds no personal data, it needs no consent banner under EU rules.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or erase any personal data we hold, or object to its processing — though in practice we hold almost none. Contact the operator below. You also have the right to complain to the French data-protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

We link to official government sources and may link to travel partners; once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
